5 Tips For Planning A Wedding During Covid-19

If you are planning a wedding for the end of the year or even 2021, I know you are probably starting to stress right now. Use this time while you are self-quarantining to get some planning done! Here are a few tips to hopefully help you to get through planning a little easier!

  1. Book your venue ASAP! - Typically venues book six months to a year in advance. Now with so many postponements, available dates will be even harder to come by!

  2. Book your vendors as soon as you book your venue! -  Once your date is set, and the venue is booked, you should start booking vendors immediately. Even in normal circumstances this is a good practice to ensure your favorite vendors are also available your wedding!

  3. Make a list - List all of the things to plan that are the most time consuming. For example: seating charts, narrowing guest list, and reading reviews of wedding vendors. Take this time while you’re at home to tackle the things that take up the most time!

  4. Have A Backup Plan - Discuss backup plans in case of rain, illness, or unexpected events like we are facing now. If you have a plan then when changes are needed you will be prepared and it will limit your stress!

  5. Purchase Wedding Insurance - Most importantly, if there is anything we have learned in these past few months, it’s that you never know what might happen. Be prepared for the unexpected by choosing a wedding insurance plan that is right for you.

Above all, while planning please remember to breathe! Don’t stress. Although navigating wedding planning may take a little more time and effort right now, it is possible! Reach out to your planner or other vendors for recommendations and advice!
