I was privileged to capture this love story unfold! From the proposal to their engagement session and finally their wedding day! Such a beautiful couple so much in love!
For their first look I had them each write a little something to read to one another before they saw each other. Then we went to a little park I had passed on the way to meet the bride that morning. I had Brennan stand facing the beautiful trees full of Spanish moss and then Sydney arrived and made her way to the spot we were at.
Once they were both in the same spot they stood back to back holding hands. They still hadn't seen each other at this point. Well Sydney saw Brennan's back but that was all. They held hands and took turns reading their love notes. Brennan's was 3 pages long and made me tear up as i wrote it out for him earlier that day. As they read to each other tears streamed down their faces. The anticipation grew as each minute passed. Each longing to see the others face.
Once they had both finished their letters Brennan turned to see his Bride. They cried a little more, hugged, kissed and then it was time to call over the rest of the bridal party for photos! We had fun and danced and sang through the photos with the wedding party. Then they let the Bride and Groom have another moment together. I took them over to the little bridge I had passed earlier that morning and it looked like something out of a fairy-tale with the Spanish Moss hanging in the beautiful trees above them.
Once we were done we made our way to the ceremony. There the brides Poppop waited to see his girl. She walked up behind him as he turned to see her. There wasn't a dry eye around as the hugged and cried. The brides tears left a watermark on her Poppop's shoulder. It was almost time for him to give her away!
The wedding ceremony was beautiful. Full of love and happy tears. After the talk the Grooms grandfather who he was named after, said a prayer and announced them Man & Wife.
We all then made our way to the reception. It was held at the Cici & Hyatt Brown Museum of Art. The Bride and Groom and I were able to walk around the museum and made some beautiful photos! One of my most favorite venues I've ever photographed!
Take a look for yourself! Leave some love for the happy couple below!
